About

Composer, producer, performing musician, and educator based in Los Angeles.  I studied production at Cal Poly Pomona and composition at CSULB for my M.M. and USC for my D.M.A.  I am currently a lecturer at USC where I teach music theory, musicianship, and music technology.  I also teach privately and freelance as a composer and producer.

Through my experience playing in groups ranging from rock bands to classical ensembles, engineering and producing music in various genres, and receiving an education by apprenticeship under renowned producers as well as in the academic setting, I have inhabited and drawn influence from the worlds of popular music and concert music genres.

My music tends to exist in the grey area between genres as I embrace a musical language that reflects our energetic and multifarious time.  I lean toward works that require motley ensembles, electronics, and multiple media.
